Brora went down to a late goal as Huntly left Dudgeon Park with all three points. Daniel Bell was in superb form with a string of fine saves.
It was beginning to look more and more like a draw was on the cards however with 87 minute on the clock a move down the right saw Ross McKenzie and the Huntly trialist linking up with the latter firing a shot goalwards which was deflected on it's way past Daniel Bell.
Brora did have one last chance to grab a point when a free kick played into the box fell to Scott MacAngus 12 yards out but he fired the ball over the bar to ensure it was the visitors who left with the points.
The club received a major boost when Drinks giants Diageo agreed to become sponsors of the Youth Development programme. The sponsorship will help the club to expand the programme to include teams at under 13, 15, 17 level plus a girls and womens team.

Brora Rangers F.C. have announced the new appointment of Alan Duff as Assistant Manger to Andy Macleod, Duff will bring many years of Highland league experience as a player and the winning mentality that is needed to succeed in management. Duff had a very colourful career at Highland League level scooping 3 Highland League championship medals along the way.
Manager Andy Macleod is delighted that Alan has decided to join his management team, "we have a very young squad of players and the addition on Alan Duff as Assistant Manager will help those young players mature into good Highland League players. Alan has been a friend and fellow player for many years and we have a mutual respect for each other". Duffs no nonsense approach will come as a breath of fresh air to the Sutherland club who are trying to develop a squad of young, committed, enthusiastic players.
Brora can also confirm that Andy Macleod has moved swiftly to recruit the services of Ross County's young star Ross Suttar on loan until the end of the season. Ross is originally from Thurso and will fit in at the club really well, he has suffered some bad luck over the past 18 months with injuries hampering his Ross County career but hopefully with some regular games and an injury free year Ross will develop into a fine player.
