Post Wick Fixture

After the historic victory over Wick at the weekend local sports reporter Dale Pryde-MacDonald caught up with Maxi finding out what the gaffer thought of the game.....

“Over the moon, local derby delighted with the 3 points, what more can I say delighted for the players because I just sit at the side and shout”

“ 2 consecutive wins, 2 consecutive clean sheets, so delighted at that and move up slightly in the league. I think this just gives confidence to everyone at the club and we will kick on from that.”

“ I thought the referee got Martin Gunn’s situation right, I think he should have been sent off in the first half, but, I think the 2nd situation with Ryan Tillman being sent off and the boy Allan being booked was a bit of an over-reaction. It was a derby, high-intensity and I don’t think there is much more to say on the issue.”

“ We are wanting teams to be uncomfortable coming to Brora, it’s a great Park and sometimes that can suit teams so we aim to make it as difficult as possible for them. Beginning to build, its getting this guys to understand the winning feeling and getting the confidence from that. We have got to kick on from this and show that we aren’t finished.”
