Notes:
Brora lose Valient battle and dont claim hat-trick
By Dale Pryde-MacDonald.

Brora gave Inverurie a true run for their money in this one but sadly this game proved to be a bridge too far for the Cattachs.

Brora matched the home side in all areas of the park however Locos had the more clearer of the chances. Their accuracy shone through a lot more clearly on 22 minutes, this when Tommy Wilson ran through and hammered a header home past a helpless McCallum.

Brora's equaliser almost came immediately Scott Begg forcing Reid in to a great save from a 25 yard freekick.  Begg was to be more fortunate on 32 minutes in what was almost an action replay of his first freekick. This time Reid was helpless and it was felt the cattachs may be on track for a 3rd successive win.

Brora were to gain another piece of fortune early in the 2nd half. This time Cammy Mackay spotted a dubious handball and pointed to the spot, however, Mo Morrisons penalty was less than convincing and MacCallum parried to saftey.

Inveruries 2 and 3rd goals gave Mo Morrison a chance to make up for his penalty hell as he hammered home from 2 freekick in which both were idetical and this brace sealed the 3 points for the Locos.

This game proved to be a bridge to far however they young team gave a valient effort and hopes now lie at the fortress of Dudgeon Park next week against Clach.
