| Brora weathered Bonar's pressure and created the first chance in three minutes when good play between Ryan Mackintosh and Andrew Neill cut the North Caley defence apart but John Cameron's effort flew wide of the target.
Brora should have taken the lead in the 15th minute when Jason Gunn created space in the box and Jamie McKay should have done better than blasted the ball over the bar. Bonar responded by going straight up the park and it was former Brora player Alan Dorrian who fired a shot narrowly past the right hand post from the edge of the box.
Brora threatened again in the 28th minute when John McKay set Jamie McKay free but ex Brora U19 keeper Steven Martin got down well to save his shot. Brora pressure finally paid off two minutes later when Evan Murray met John McKay's corner to head powerfully past Martin in the Bonar goal.
Steven Martin pulled off an other great save from a Mark McKernie drive to keep Bonar in the game in the 34th minute and 10 minutes later another wonder save saw him touch the ball round his left hand post from a Jamie McKay shot.

Bonar started the second half well and forced a couple of corners in quick succession. They should have levelled from the second one when Allan Dorrian was left in acres of space but he headed high over.
However Brora went on to take a grip of the game and in 65 minutes Jamie McKay burstinto the box only to be felled by Steven Martin . John Cameron made no mistake from the spot
Brora's fitness to tell as the half progressed with Steven Martin being the busiest player on the park. He kept scoreline respectable with fine stops from a Jason Gunn shot and Mark McKernie header in quick succession. With the game drawing to a close the final effort of the note saw Evan Murray bring the crowd to their feet as he charged from his own box, right through the heart of the opposition side before curling a 30 yard effort just wide of the post. The Cattachs will now progress to face Wick Academy in the next round.
